The S and CL Class have always been Mercedes-Benz flagship vehicles. They always have had the most advanced technologies on them at the time of production and the W220 was no different. They have so many electronics that it is impossible for fuses to blow. Keep in mind that under normal operation of a certain circuit the fuse wouldn’t blow. So if you find a blown fuse and it blows again shortly after you replace it then you should look for an underlying problem to the corresponding circuit. We have provided the list below which should cover all 2000-2006 CL and S Classes. If you find any discrepancies please leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

The best way to test fuses is to remove them and do a visual inspection. You will see a broken wire between the two terminals if it blown.
